Cool Colin. Just didnt understand your statement. Glad you guys enjoy our work and believe me if the French morale thing messes up the balance terribly I will work something out.

I am undecided for future titles if I will continue to offer the extra leaders. The Allies are concerned about the lack of leaders for the brigades but the main issue there is that the Allies until 1813 were living way in the past. When an attack was launched a leader would be pressed to commandeer more than a regiment or a couple of battalians. This was the command system that the Prussians and even 1809 Austrians had. Thus the brigades with tons of units and one leader. They were still using the Column mentality. Pretty much answer's the concerns of one of the Allied members which was voiced earlier.

Anyway, please give it a shot and if I fell flat on my face with this one I want to know. The stacking is a separate thing and should be treated as such. It will allow a larger battalian to stack with a battery for enhanced protection (say 900 men and 6 guns I think or even 8 - havent checked out the limits yet). Also more cavalry per hex. It should be evaluated on its own but you will have to convince Rich H. too that if you think that we should revert to 1600.

Anyway, back to training (here in Denver). Weather here is great! Going to get a rental car today and go for a ride.

Gentlemen sorry to cause a heated debate in our tavern. I will load the patch for future games too - Antony summed it up well.

Bill my main objective of this was not to undermine the great work HPS and you do I just wanted to be sure as Yann said I would still be able to get opponents for my favourite game.

Also I just wanted you to know there was an argument 'for' as well as 'against'. Jena is a different tactical approach for French players than the other games so a few negative responses to it I guess was to be expected. You can't just barrel up the middle with massed columns and heavy cavalry it requires more subtlety and skill. As well as patience in the large map twin battle scenario.

But as I have led a number of projects in my real life with lots of passionate stakeholders I fully understand how hard it can be to balance everyone’s 'expert[B)]' opinions.

Now onwards and upwards and can we have another title soon please [:D][:D]

Wish I was in Denver with my ski's

Best regards
Colin
