Gentlemen,

I attempted to install this mod from the following URL:
http://www.grimdahl.net/Downloadcenter/ ... eipzig.htm
but am geting this error message when I attempt to open any scenario:
"Error opening scenario file".
I am able to open scenario files using the scenario editor, although I get three duplicate leader warnings that I cannot diagnose.

I am using the latest version of HPS Eckmuhl: V1.12

I believe the mod was built about 4 years ago. If anyone has experience with this mod, or knows of any subtle change to the scenario files in the past few updates of CE, I will greatly apprecaite any assisance.

Thank you,

The problem is that Eckmuhl is currently locked so as to be un-moddable. In short, the mod has to use a special map, but the game engine will not accept a non-HPS map since one of the early patches (1.03?). So, CE 1.12 will not run any mods that require a non-HPS map.

Thank you Gary. I won't attempt further to try and get things to work.

You can do it, if you can find the old patch. The people who do the mods tend to keep them around.

That said, there's been a lot of nice features added since 1.03.

One thing has not changed since 1.03. Its in all of the series.

All of the troops still use the woods! [:p]
