Gentlemen,

It is both an honour and a pleasure to announce the promotion of the following officers, in recognition of their service to the Anglo-Allied Army and for the competence they have demonstrated in leading men into battle:

~ <u><b>Bill Spitz</b></u>, commanding 1st/27th Regiment of Foot, 10th Brigade (det.), II Corps, to the rank of <font color="orange"><b>Major</b></font id="orange">

~ <u><b>Lucas Kling</b></u>, commanding Regiment Karabiniers No. 1, Brigade Zware Kavallerie, I Corps, to the rank of <font color="orange"><b>Majoor</b></font id="orange">

~ <u><b>Chris Baker</b></u>, commanding 3rd/14th Regiment of Foot, 4th British Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, II Corps, to the rank of <font color="orange"><b>Captain</b></font id="orange">

~ <u><b>Ian Conway</b></u>, commanding Boltan's Brigade (R.A.), 2nd Infantry Division, to the rank of <font color="orange"><b>2nd Lieutenant</b></font id="orange">


Furthermore, in recognition of his exemplary conduct and superior abilities on the battlefield, I am proud to announce that the following officer has been granted an honorary commission in the Guards:
