Best viewed in IE from what I am finding. Netscape couldn't find a suitable plug-in to work with it.

My main question is: I went to turn in a New Game form about a game I am in with John Sheffield. He is in the 23rd Dragoons. Is this the Cavalry Reserve or II Corps?

The website has headings for the I, II, Brunswick and Reserves but I didn't see a heading for the Cavalry Corps.

Did I miss seeing it?

Anyway, I filled it out with John in the II Corps just in case the commander gets a copy of the form but is not John's commander.

Hi Bill, as Netscape is not longer a supported browser I didn't take it into account during web design anymore. Explorer, Firefox and Safari were taken into account and working.

The cavalry corps is disbanded. The cavalry is now attached to the different corps and brigade units. So, indeed John Sheffield now belongs to II corps.

Can the New Game forms reflect this? Remove the Cavalry Corps choice? Much thanks in advance.

It's true, the game form still lists Cav Cps, sort of confusing.

Guess that means it's time for me to update my signature too and finally say farewell to the good old cavalry corps. [B)]

Well Sir, Walter,

I am hoping that we attract many new members (we have 5 in the Academy! so our efforts seems to work) and then maybe we can re-raise the corps later. But for the moment the army still has some higher positions to full fill as well.

Yes, I noticed that you needed a II Corps commander. Good luck in finding your commanders guys.

Good idea.
You can indeed try to enlist Bill. But I am afraid it will not work out as Colonels in your army can only be compared to ensigns in our army[;)] (with regards to status)...so then it will take a long time to progress in the ranks.

You better stay with the French.

Yes, the Anglo-Allied army is all concerned about status, the relative level in military society to which each belongs based on his family connections and how much money he needs to purchase a commission.

We have no such society in the French military. Our rank is earned by bravery on the field of battle and accomplishments, not how well we can dance with the Earl of Rutland's wife! [:p]

Anglo-Allied officers - good for dancing
French officers - good for fighting and winning

The idea of transferring never entered my mind. When you have found the best (Polish Corps, Armee du Rhin, French Armee) why switch? [;)][:p]
