Yann, Officers of La Grande Armee, Friends,

Thank you Yann, for your years of service at all levels, from green lieutenant to Commander in Chief. One of the great things of this club is making friends and you have made friends not only in the French Army but in all armies. We are sad to see you go but you will always be our friend. Our best wishes to you and your family.

A few words to the officers of La Grande Armee. Coming in as the new Commander in Chief, I am happy to have the support of Marechal Corbin. Marechal Corbin and I are in agreement with how to proceed with the leadership of La Grande Armee. My first act as CiC is to name Marechal Corbin as my Chief of Staff.

With Marechal Corbin and myself, leaving the posts of CO of AdR and AdN, those posts are vacant and will remain so. we will no longer have headquarters staff for AdN or AdR. All corps and divisions, where there is no corps CO, will report directly to La Grande Armee Headquarters.

My first step will be to get acquainted with the officers of La Grande Armee, specifically, those whom have not yet been under my command. By the end of December, I hope to be able to contact each officer directly. As future plans unfold, they will be outlined for La Grande Armee in Pierre's Tavern.
