To all,
Warfare is recogniseed as perfect chaos theory and can never be perfectly simulated.
Humans are brilliant but will never be perfect.
These games are brillaint but will never be perfect.
Thus we strive for perfection knowing we will never achieve it. Our passions drive us. With this understanding, the help and assistance of all those who have something to offer is welcomed, appreciated and respected. This community effort continues the progress to imperfect completion for the satisfaction and pleasure of all.
History and its recordings are taken from many perspectives all of which are difficult if not impossible to form into one correct and complete picture. They are incomplete, biased and solicited for many reasons, many in fact to hide or exaggerate the facts and truth. Every event had its own uniqie circumstances. Fate, luck and randomness are all major factors in the choas theory of warfare. The results are often unbelievable...(like Napoleon lossing the Waterloo Campaign, Japan winning the Battle of Tsushima!)....and we try to simulate it!
Playing these games just gets better the more people provide their assistance. To put aside our personal bias, passion and perceptions in an attempt to simulate in a game the Napoleonic period is the objective. The team that is doing that are Brilliant and deserve all the unbiased, dispassionate and factual information we can assist them with. Not to mention praise and congradulations for the hours and passion they put in!
We do not have to blow our own trumpet loudly to be recognised as contributing to the music. Just get with the bands song sheet!
Merry Christmas to the Team and a Happy New Year to you all.
