I haven't been on that board for donkey years!!
I see some familiar names though, which is good.[:)]

Rediscovered I had the BG/HPS series but I have lost all the patches. Could anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks!

I'm not sure if these were the latest patches but I have the following on a back up disk.

bgw_104.exe - 5,600 kb
nir_103.exe - 300 kb
ptw_104.exe - 550 kb

If this is what you're looking for I can email them to you if you can handle files that big.

Another possibility would be if someone is using acwgc.org for their website and wants to make these available I can upload the files to their folder since I have admin access to all the folders there. I also have a collection of zipfiles containing scenarios for the BG games if someone would want them.

Ken, thanks but got them from inwc. [:)] fyi, it seems bgw is now 1.11 or 1.14s rather than 1.04.

Jean-Denis - after you have applied the patch do not forget to then apply the 32bit upgrade for each game. So Waterloo will now be v 2.06

should I use 1.11 or 1.14s? What's the difference? Can't recall.

I think you use 1.14 if you are in Europe. One patch is for the US version, one for the European.

oops sorry to pester everyone with my support issues..

copied & applied the 1.14s, then 32bit engine in Main folder with the new bgw.exe

but I get a error message when selecting a battle map: "Error Reading from map file: main.map"

and my screen is black bar a couple of hexes.

Ok. Try the 1.11 patch and see if that works.

If that does not work then I can send the files you need: I know some patches were altered so they no longer work with Tiller Upgrades.

It may also be a pc issue. I run XP. I think there may be problems with Vista.

same issue with nir though you see the map but it doesn't work.

I use Vista and BG worked as a 16 bit.

I looked at the main.map but I can't recall if there's something to be changed. Also my files are on D:/

If you still have a problem it may be a Vista issue as it will be 32-bit. Other people here may be able to help with that.

I have just installed my original disk, then applied the patches from the website below and everything upgraded fine to 2.06.

It may therefore be a Vista problem????
