I cant say enough about this product. While it cant do wild card search and replacement of text but the OB files it is great when you need to Find/Replace text in multiple files. And they dont even need to be opened.

So if you decide to change the morale of all French line infantry bns. in several OB files you can do it very simply in the Replace dialog window. Yes, you must be careful that you are choosing the right set of text but with some wisdom and so on you can become expert at it.

I was able to also change the 2d/3D numbers for the units in one of my new projects VERY easily. I did up something like 20 OBs in a matter of a couple of hours. I mean I changed EVERY number in large OBs for each unit! That would have taken me days to do using the old Replace function in trusty Wordpad.

Anyway, it has more features that are nice. You can find all instances in every OB file of a unit to see if the name spelling is off. You can check to see if your artillery values are correct. Etc.

The software can be had for about 45 bucks. Its well worth the cost. Ultra Compare can be added to the package and its also a good product.

If you do text editing of any sort, web design, programming, routers/switches (SSH or TelNet) then this is the program that can do it all. Well worth the price & UltraCompare is also an excellent product - makes it extremely easy to quickly find differences in files.
