<font size="6">Bill Peters this Wagnerian Song Goes out to you!! [:p]</font id="size6">

<b>The New Blue is Black!!

New Officers Both Recruits and Returning</b>

For all ages of these lands stand the prominent one of them all. I speak of Prussia. The Prussian Armee is one of the best chances to make something of yourself in this club or a cool place to relax and disappear from the masses and have some fun if that is your style. We are a low key force that tries to have fun and encourage good gamesmanship and positive additude. We don't require you to be constantly playing games. We don't pester you every month with musters. We don't wipe your existence in the Armee and club away. Our pages kept up to date and offer more than just a gaming HQ with research and historical links too. We offer one of the best medals and promotions system. Not unweildy rank points nor medals based solely on victories. Our medals are exstensive and easy to get, but also a fun challenge. We also have plenty of openings and room for growth.

Listen to these words:

<i>"To advance was impossible, to stay where we were meant certain death, and with our goal so near everyone preferred death to retreat. Our difficulty and danger were growing all the time. Eventually Gaseback [Friccius' adjutant] found a weak place in the wall, to the right between the gate posts and the poor-house. I grabbed the rifle of the nearest Landwehr soldier and battered in the thin wall with the butt. It soon collapsed, because several of the men gave us vigorous help. As soon as the opening was large enough, I jumped through the breach and shouted to my troops, 'You won't abandon me, will you??'

On hearing my call, Captain Motherby leaped to the front and holding up his sword called out, 'Comrades, follow me'!!"</i>

Thus was the brave words men of the 3rd Landwehr Regiment!! All up and down the lines our great GFM was heard to have said: Vorwärts meine Kinder!! That day, that famous day at Liepzig!! General Vorwärts carried his undying quest of Honor and Glory to crush the little corporal!! General Vorwärts would carry the day time and time again!! Fearing nothing and no man!! Death Looked him in the face and he Laughed!!

<b>Vorwärts Meine Kinder!! Vorwärts!!</b>

So if you want a nice little place to have some fun, relax, play games check us out.

Who knows maybe you will be the next Blucher, the <b>only</b> man who was never afraid of old Boney!!

You know what they say. Once you go black you never got back!!

Besides we played a major part in 2 of Napoleon's 3 defeats!!

I've missed these.
Of course, the Prussians are still a bunch of overrated dilanettes who stood aside while their bettors were fighting the hated French, and then had the temerity to think that they could challenge those same Frenchmen on their own. Of course, if all of their vaunted Grenadiers were as tough as their queen, Napoleon might have actually had to slow down on his way to Poland.

Well to be honest since the French army holds a weekly muster it seems I have thought of joining the new Swedish army (Ja!). You see in the Swedish army they figure you are present and accounted for because after all, who would leave Sweden? [:D]

My second choice would be the Anglo-Allied army. Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves!! I love that song.

But Prussia? All of that droll landscape. Endless days of campaigning in East Prussia on hunt for wild boar? Endless marshes? Who needs it?

And Prussia has no skiing like Sweden! What Napoleonic officer worth his weight in captured gold skis in Prussia? They ALL go to either Austria, Switzerland, Italy or ... Sweden! [:D]

Oh yeah, before I forget. I am present and will be as long as I am in the club. Hope that helps! [;)] (as if you guys in HQ didn't know)

New Swedish army indeed. 2 in the Anglo camp and a third hopefully joining soon. There will be more of them than Belgians soon. I'm an ethnic minority!

Bill

Not a great time that I joined again but so far I know it's a monthly report and not a weekly one. Not difficult to do at all. More this kind of report was a reality, at least in the former Armée du Nord, since I joined about 2000. I must confess that I intiated these kind of report for Armée du Rhin since we had at least 25% of the army in fact inactive when I arrived in CIC. It was a very hard debate with the former ADR Commandant.

But, if you disagree, may be you can discuus the matter in the Rhine ?

When I was CIC, I must say that I had a lot of difficulties to know what the officers thought about of what I was doing. I appreciated a lot those who made constructive critics. There were very few. So please, be one of these few and express your point of view in the Pierre's Tavern.

It's just my thoughts as I have no more responsibilities in the French Army.

Best regards

The comments on the muster are tongue in cheek.

The musters are annoying as all get out as everyone knows I am present! [:D]

Gary - yes I missed them too, I was trying to behave myself, but hell, they were great recruitment tools... [:D] But I digress to your lies, may I remind you of how Ol' Nappy steam rolled over the Austrians, oh half a dozen times?? [?][:0] Of course you Austrians stood by as we rose up against him and waited till we had pushed Ol' Boney very far back with the help of the Russians, before you had the nerve to even sneeze at the French....

Oh come my little dumpling cheese beer Austrian Tinker Toy Brigades...come out of your lil mouse houses and came play with Ol' Boney...no worries the REAL Germans will keep you safe along w/Brother Bear and John Bull.... [B)][:p][}:)]

Yann - We prefer to live through a Russian winter....I fart in your general direction.... [:o)][:p] It is nice to see you back in the Club... [:)]

Colin - Of course you missed them, you secretly love Prussia and dress up as our Queen every night...after all look at the Mamelouks outfit... [:p][:D]

Bill - now, now our style of life will make a man out of you pollywog, couch sitting, pink Pantaloon Frenchmen yet... [:p][B)] If you are tired of your army mustering all the time, us Prussians only muster about once or twice a year... [:D][:p] We don't beat ya, we promise... [:o)]
