Gentlemen,

Two questions:

1. Cavalry charge in Jena PDT is set to *5 but in reality number count in melee dialog gives *3.8 not *5. For example 100 hussars charge infantry column - as per PDT they should become 100*5=500 for the purpose of the melee calculation but appear to be only 380 in melee dialog?

2. Does anyone know if its possible to modify PDT in a way so units will accumulate higher fatigue as a result of melee / ranged fire?

Thanks.

Answers:

1. I would have to see the file. It all depends on the matchup too. Was morale an issue? Usually I see them actually HIGHER at times than 5x. Again, without a game file I cant answer this one properly.

2. No, you cannot adjust this. Its set in the game engine.

Thanks Bill,

Any plans to introduce more layers of fatigue or/and higher fatigue accumulation in the next title to make heavily damaged units less combact effective and hence overall battles casulaties more realistic?

None that I know of.

The only changes I have asked for and gotten are in the areas of rules or changes that allow for historical incidences to occur or to make a minor change here and there.

I can't go into details but the command range values for Corps, Wing and Army commanders were one example of something I have asked for and gotten. Other changes will be coming out in the next title we do.
