I can see there are no replies to Colin’s post in Pierre's Tavern and it seems like French do not appreciate the golden opportunity to learn.

Monsieur Knox, perhaps you would like to consider joining the army of his Majesty Alexander I?
A few fine noble ex-French Generals (Langeron, Jomini) already serve our Emperor and surely you can expect a better pay and better appreciation of your theoretical exploits on tactics.

Haha! Colin merely asked us to read. After all you cannot add to the "Master's" ability!

Responses will be met with a firing squad. We just read and hope we can do the same as he does!

In the Prussian army they just beat you with a stick and tell you to "heel!" :D

Hi Scott!

Jeez Bill you make me sound like a right T....ser. hahaha. Nothing like that just posting some thoughts. I see one of our other experienced officers has added some comments too.

And as for joining the Russian army.....well since you betrayed us at Tilsit and sold out to the English I dont think so. I would never leave the service of the Emperor, the enlightened leader of a libertous Europe especially to join the lacky's of the merchants of London. Who believe in commerce over liberty and equality.

The Tsar should have ignored his advisors and chosen his real friend in Europe. Perhaps the Russian army would consider leaving the cooalition and joining France, as they did in 1807?
Or are the landlords of Russia preferring to keep their people in surfdom?

A BOMB!!!

Among other documnts WikiLeaks publishes correspondance of British army Headquarters and, in particular, this letter from Russian Army command:

"... It was by all means a wise decision to excile recently captured GdB Knox to remote islands of New South Wales. On the other hand His Majesty and all of His Army are very keen to ensure that this officer does not bother neither Far Eastern borders of the Empire, not the peaceful loneliness of his socalled emperor. Our intelligence indicates that under a cover of sport, huge groups of aborigenes, named Chasseurs de Pacifique, are trained to perform a special tactics of "haka". Apparently only the Highlanders regiments can provide a symmetric answer to the aforementioned tactics. On behalf of His Majesty I suggest that the garrison of New South Wales is reinforced with several Highlanders regiments from the Occupation corps of His Royal Majesty in France. In order to ensure peace and stability in the rebellious country those named regiments might be substituted with the same number of grenadiers regiments of Russian Army..."

Blame on Assange! 8)

By the way Anton if you believe I am captured after one defeat you might want to go about raising the funds you will need to secure the release the 15 odd senior coalition officers I have at my HQ

Indeed large parts of the coalition are currently uncommanded. Indeed I believe you are among my hostages

As it's now the Coalition has more chances of Victory. We should place collective interests above the personal ones.

Speaking of personal affairs, I asked and still ask to have a grudge match. So if you have a spot on your dance card...
