For the Allies - the exit hex National flag is of importance. Only that Nation's troops can gain Victory Points for exiting from that location.

Example: There is a Prussian flag for an exit hex. The Austrians would not gain victory points for exiting their troops at this location.

Unlike when a Prussian unit enters an Austrian Victory Point location on the map and converts it to a Prussian flag, an Exit VP location cannot be converted to another Nation's flag.

FYI for those that did not know this.

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

What about Snagelpuss would he get points for exiting on one of these hexes?

 Sheesh, someone let Colin out of his cage too early today! :P

There are French exit hexes that lead right to a Gibraltar prison barge. Especially for smart alecky Frenchies.

I did not know an Ally can change an objective hex to his from another Ally's.

Interesting.

It is just a graphics thing, that's all. The VP amount for holding it is kept as long as that SIDE (First or Second however it may be) holds it at the end of the game.

To clarify: A LOCATION is a VP objective on the map that is not a EXIT hex. EXIT hexes can never be changed from one NATION to the other for the Allies. Thus the SD has to put multiple NATIONAL exit locations on the edge of the map. Good thing I found this out as in one of my battles in Austerlitz I may have only allowed for one and I need to go back now and see if I made a "boo boo."
