Many of us are always asking on this forum "where is that mod for ...." - I have started this link as a REFERENCE point for the alternate graphics. If you know of a set that will work please post the link and monitor that link for us please so that the latest and greatest is always available.

This is a not a discussion thread therefore please do not start a long drawn out discussion about graphics. Start up a new thread and discuss it there. This thread is mainly so we can QUICKLY leaf through the thread and find the pack we want.

Format: some simple text describing the art pack. A link enclosed by image tags (ensure that you have enabled BB Code for your threads) showing a sample of the artwork if you can provide it is really nice. Now if the link leads to a site that provides these then you do not need to provide an image but it does help as a selling point for the mod.

I will start us off:

This is my artpack for the roads, pikes, paths and streams. Here is the link where you can get the artpack:

http://myweb.cableone.net/williampeters ... treams.zip

And here is a preview of what it looks like:

Image

My goal was to get the streams to stand out better in woods and on the map, but especially the paths and streams as I was having problems seeing them in the terrain. The roads also appear better.

(caveat - this is all a matter of preference to some so please no war on which pack is better in your text - give us what you got or like and leave it at that)

I think the Roads, etc art pack is an excellent AID for playing the games. It is well worth the download.

Yes, all files go in the Map folder and you can use this for all Nap games in the series. I made up an ACW pack as well. You can use these files for those games too. You just need to do the following:

Rename the following files:
2DMain100.bmp to 2DPikes100.bmp

2DPaths100.bmp to 2DTrails100.bmp

The Roads file is named the same in the ACW series. For the EAW series it is the same except that no Pikes are used. Thus you would use the Roads and Paths files and rename the Paths file to Trails as shown above.

I am going to ask if you guys could to delete your comments or just move them to a new thread. That way this one stays relatively clean for others in the club that want to post replies. Mark Jones' thread is appropriate for instance.

I would like to link here my 2d zoom in view mod, for anyone interested:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6XL1I17S

Just unzip in the /map folder of any HPS Napoleonic Battles series game. Here a sample screenshot:

More or less the same for the John Tiller Battleground Napoleonic Wars, plus a redesigned LOS tool. Installation instructions included in the file:
