Gentlemen Officers of All Armies:

It is with the greatest pleasure that I announce to you the award of the annual honors bestowed by the Anglo-Allied Army. There are three medals that are only given once a year. They are the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the Most Noble Order of the Thistle and the Meritorious Service Medal.

The first two listed are the highest medals bestowed on any officer in the Anglo-Allied Army. They are the most coveted medals we have and, by far, the most difficult to obtain. They are awarded only once a year to an officer who has rendered noble and long service to the army, achieving special notoriety within their respective Division, Corps or Army. For the year just past, the Most Noble Order of the Garter was awarded by our army to our army commander, Lt. Generaal Marco Bijl for his long and outstanding service in our cause. The Most Noble Order of the Thistle was awarded by our army commander to Generaal Andy Moss for his extraordinary number of victories and his endless efforts to enlarge our army and train our new recruits.

The last order listed is bestowed upon the officer having completed the most game turns in the past year. The Meritorious Service Medal was also awarded to Generaal Andy Moss for the official completion of 725 turns played in the preceding year.

Four other officers were favorably Mentioned in our Army’s Dispatches for the number of game turns completed in the preceding year. They are Field Marshall Ed Blackburn, Colonel Douglas McMann, Kapitein Par Jonsson and myself.

Please join me is a toast to all of these fine officers of the Anglo-Allied Army.

Congrats to you fine officers! Andy - amazing considering the amount of help you have given to the "playtest" cause as well! Wish I had a medal to give to you and several of the others who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping us out!

Good job Marco! Without you the Allied cause would falter. Well done to all!

Weolcome to the Noble Order of the Garter Gen. Bijl. Let's have a drink in your honor -- my purse of course. And you as well, Gen. Moss. I must say, quite an extraordinary feat -- so many turns... so much time. Yes, well... Helga, brink out the best Ale in the Tavern for these gentlemen.

Three Cheers!
