For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

Don't take it to badly, Herr General Peters. Every Frenchman will tell you that there is not a single, Coalition officer anywhere that is worth even 1 point.

I probably took the words right out of Marechal Bardon's mouth if I had to guess.

If it's any consolation, we don't rate any Allied officers as worthy of a bounty, so you're just as valuable to us as Sir Muddy or Jeka or Konstantin or Scott (isn't there a rule that Scott must be mentioned by name in at least every 3rd post?).

We collect victories, swords and glory, not points from a bounty.

Do the allied officers need so much points they are taking now General level officers to gain points ??
We can give you also all the name of our new recruits and Lieutenant so you can claim for more points

Or maybe this is because I have french blood like General Guegan ?

They actually take poinst away from you if you beat me....



I do believe there is a proclamation issued somewhere about that....

I actually thought about adding all my former iNWC French Officers to the list, just for fun, but most of them are fresh Lieutenants and what not, so I will wait till they get to a higher level. Mike Haley that means you!!

Frankly upon further thought I think that this should be discontinued. At least lower the points for each.

To be honest it would encourage people who are ladder mongers to go hunting these officers instead of just concentrating on having fun.

Are any of us in this for points? I hope not. I just opened up my OBD, found that Scott had dumped a pile of points my way and thus got promoted. Frankly I do not believe I deserved that many. Discretionary points. But I really didn't do THAT much to deserve them.

Honestly the bounty thing in the CCC was not a great idea and I never liked the idea of going after General Burgoyne in a game. My goal was to defeat the army and not get some bonus for LOSING the battle but capturing Gentleman Johnny.

Anyway, my two cents on this. I think that some guys may feel that this is a bit overboard ...

I know that I now am asking for NO Bounty points at all for my OBD. Am sending Scott a note on this as well. I prefer to earn my points through battles and admin work. Also makes our ranks look like they are easier to get ....

If we are offering Bounty points and so on then increase the amount of points for a rank please.
