Andy Moss, are you out there?

Send me an email at tcavallin1@cogeco.ca. Do you still have those Leipzig 1813 OOB files that we worked on a few years back?

Bill Peters, is there anything coming down the pipe on 1813 or 1814 campaigns?

Anyone - Anyone interested in gaming these years?

Chat soon,
Tim

Working steadily on four titles. Lets put it this way. I am not working on the 1807 campaign nor on the Peninsular War campaigns in Spain and Portugal. Hmm, that leaves quite a bit in between doesn't it! 8)

I cannot say much now but will be able to in the not so distant future. Just keep your gaming palette ready for some first class adventure into the great deep!

Always intriguing Bill! Do you have a very broad timetable for your future releases?

Honestly the sooner we get the remaining titles out in the series the better. I am tucking a few of the obscure things into one game such as the Russo-Swedish war along with a full blown big time title. I am trying to make sure that not much gets overlooked in the series. Other groups work on their titles while I am churning out something like three to four titles I hope over the next two years.

After that it would probably be too obscure to do anything else although adding in those unit pictures for the Haitian insurgents and some for the Bolivians and other South Americans would be fun too. Company level battles and so on. The EAW guys may end up picking those up as they are small actions and probably suited better for a EAW series game but hey, whatever lights the pipe.

This is the most work I have put together for John in one time period and I am sure that once it is all out there on the market you guys will be swamped with titles to play that you will be crying "hold it up!" :P

Other obscure topics would be the Austrian-Russian-Turkish fights. If we did Egypt we would have the icons for the Turks. Add in the Russians from say an Eylau game and you could easily have a Russo-Turkish war. Austrians from 1809 and so on. If I did something like that I would need a Historical Consultant to help me with the Balkans stuff. Data is out there but the OBs are really obscure for the Turks. It is in Turkish and I have seen the titles but the language AND the price of the materials is in the Donald Trump price range.

Once the major stuff is done and if the Map Editor gets out then we all could look at adding in some of the odd stuff that never would get done commercially. Wellington in India, etc. There is a battle of Capetown that I noted here some time back that would be fun to do. Again, it is all smaller scale by that time. Once stuff like 1813, 1814, Peninsular, Eylau, Rev Wars, Egypt, etc. get done there is not much left to go. And Al Amos will go nuts with a Map Editor. More of those "Wagons to Vienna" type scenarios (making that title up of course).

Someone commented that moving over to use the REN engine for this period would be nice but for me it would involve a lot of porting of text files. Sheesh, to try and convert all of those scenarios and OBs over and the PDT Files .... too much. I like the fact that each unit gets its own VP and MP values but for just that it would not justify all of the work.

But like always I will not say what is out next or what titles in particular I am working on though all you have to do is use the old process of elimination and know that Campaign 1805: Louisiana Purchase is not on my list and you can narrow it all down.
