I am wanting to know the install path for the Lordz Napoleon Total War III. Do I install it to the same path that I used for the Napoleon: Total War game by SEGA?

I asked this before in another thread but did not get a response. Can you guys help me out or do I need to go to the Lordz forum?

Bill,

I used C:\Steam\steamapps\common\napoleon total war\ for the mods as I don't like to install games into Program Files with VISTA. It runs like a charm.

Ok - found out - its wherever you installed Steam. Easy to find and I will do the reinstall today sometime.

I cannot play over the internet - just do not have the time for that. And I dislike the latency issues that arise. LAN games are better at Tiller Con so be sure to show up to the next one to play our games there!

(setting up an internet connection - ie. playing games over the web - means unplugging my cable phone and thus depriving my mom of communication with outside world - we never know when my sister or brother will call or HMO folks so that is absolutely out - cable modem router is blocked by VoIP box which has settings which we have never been able to set that would allow games to be played through it - plus I am not a "click fest" guy at all - I could handle Age of Sale at best ...)

Bill,

I currently play NTW solo with steam, but updated my version to Napoleon: Total Factions so I can play as obviously any of the major factions, but if I feel the need I can play as Bavaria or Saxony etc.. as well. It's a nice additional element to the game.

I have uninstalled Steam, the game and the module from Lordz. Too much waste of my time guys. Thanks anyway.

That is why I like our games (John Tiller Games). You install them - they work. No monkeying around with this and that. Only issue is to make sure you do not install them in a certain path if you are using Vista/Win7.

Hope you guys enjoy!

(note: I play Medieval War II with no problems - my understanding is that SEGA's latest games complicated the play process and it got bad reviews)
