No, you really did not need to take up that mantle. The Rat's childish doodles were tres amusant, but you have managed to combine the worst of the silly pictures with a noticeable element of the hot air ramblings of Herr Winbagenfuhrer.

I find some small comfort that you have a doctor on call to assist you in curing this mental disorder. Now, if you would only ensure he stops harassing we enlightened French, you may yet see some progress.

If you recall, Marechal Bardon, it was in fact your fine General Knox that drove me to drink in the first place. My usual table in the tavern still bears the dents I put in it with my head when I was but a young Lieutenant. Jagermeister was the only thing I could find that was strong enough to somewhat mitigate the pain.

I recall the said Lt was a little cocky and also was a Captain I recall.
Indeed I also recall he was fresh off trouncing some of my fellow officers and had asked his trainer the venerable General Moss where he could get a descent fight

Actually, I was a Second Lieutenant when you and I began our battle. I was promoted directly from a Lieutenant to a Major upon my registry of 180+ turns of a Waterloo Campaign game. I was a newly promoted Major when I surrendered my first sword to you.

Your are entirely correct concerning my request to Generaal Moss. I have always referred to my training as the Andy Moss School of Tough Love. I believe the fact that he set me up in a game against you confirms my assertation. At the time, I had no idea who you even were. I now understand, and fully appreciate, the great honor that was accorded to me so early in my NWC military career. It was a great privalege to face you in battle and one to which I look forward to repeating in the future. You are a magnificent warrior and an honorable gentlemen and, whereas it is impossible for me to overlook the azure hue of the uniform you wear, I can manage to look beyond it to see the great merit of the officer by whom it is worn. A toast to you, sir, and one for your fine commanding officer, Marechal Bardon, as well. Two great warriors who carry my very highest respect. Also to my venerable teacher, Generaal Moss, who pushed me beyond my comfort zone so that I could grow in my abilities, risking his own battle record to play so many games as my multi-player partner.
