The Austrian Armee Beckons!

Gather round all you fine recruits & returning officers. Let me tell you all about the Austrian Armee. The REAL army that won the 1813 Campaign.

See without the leadership and calm of the famous Feldmarschall Karl Philipp Fürst zu Schwarzenberg and his trusty aid Feldmarschall Joseph Radetzky von Radetz, the man who came up with the Trachenberg Plan, the plan that defeated Napoleon and the vigilance of Kasier Franz I, the marching into Paris would of all been a dream.

But it was real and it starts here in the Campaign Leipzig and you can command the might forces of Austria. Some of the best they will put into the field and a victorious army none the less.

Yes, more cannon fodder for our guns. Austria wants another go, eh?

Failed in Italy.
Failed in Bavaria.
Failed in Moravia.
Failed in Bavaria, again.
Failed in Italy, again.
Failed on the Marchfeld.

Why not once more, just for the sake of old times?

WON THE CAMPAIGN OF 1813! Yes, they won the Tortoise Award for slowest to Leipzig! Oh, ok, the Swedes were last to the battle.

Austria was about as interested in fighting Napoleon ... well as Jeff is in fighting me in the 074. Operational Leipzig scenario from Leipzig! :mrgreen:

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

geez......i would LOVE some allied cannon fodder! i have always thought of "the allies" as duck-pins, all set up nice and ready to be mowed down.

i love parades too......someone send a battle-turn, please. but send it as a (bte) file.

Jeff - why practice makes perfect and they surely won at that.... 8)

Bill - well as their army commander as well, I had to say a few nice things to get people to join....we all know who really won though....Prussia....shhh..... :P
