For those of the lucky ones near San Francisco... look for this in the spring.

Silent film .... five hours?

Five hours of snoring for me. I could not remain awake that long through any movie.

When in SF I prefer to hit the pier or ride the cable cars. :D

Excellent movie. Saw it some years ago. Well worth the price and time. Anyone who can should see it.

Anyone who can stay awake!

"Da da da da daaaa, da da da daaaa, da da da da daa da daaa da daaa!"

(chase music from silent pics)

If it ever comes to DVD with full orchestration I would love to watch it ... in installments.

Sheesh, it took me THREE viewings to finish up Gods and Generals. (yes, only three)

Once the popcorn and Juji Fruits are done I am toast at a theater! :P

I never wished for a character in a movie to die any more than ole Stonewall in Gods and Generals. Just to finally shut him up, and I was sick of the fake beard.

I have the 1927 Napoleon movie on video tape plan to put on my PC. They shot the battle scenes with 3 cameras and then show it on 3 projectors, saw it St. Louis about 30 years ago on a very large screen, not many of those around anymore. Yes parts are a sleeper, but enjoyed it none the less.
