I need a drink!

If I survive this month, I might actually be back doing things again in the Club, but there is a chance that either my work place will erupt into rebellion or the souless ginger I work with will take my soul.... :D

I hear ya Scott. My bosses have been ruthless lately. And we thought that Corsican was an ogre. LOL

I don't miss the office one bit ...

All of that political correctness training ... "Yes Ms, I will bow down to you ..."

At my place the political correctness is the march cadence and the loading of the musket!

Ah, Colonel Lastowica, make no mistake about it, the Corsican is an Ogre. I have heard that he eats small children for pleasure, but I digress. :o

Helga, please bring a large, frosted flagon of your finest German ale for my beleaguered Prussian friend. Once he has drained it to the dregs, please be so kind as to bring him another! Continue this pace with rhythmic regularity until the gregarious General slumps in his chair. When he cannot walk, I will carry him back to his headquarters to sleep it off.

And the Emperor told me that Hanoverian children taste best, I for one have not tried any thus far.

All I can say is if our beloved leader of small stature is scary enough to be called an Ogre it clearly shows the cowardice of the coalition as they cower behind their mummies skirts

I have no doubt that the Hanoverian children are best, but they often prove quite indigestible for the normally frail constitutions of the French.

Thread highjackers....

I hear ya Dale...least my boss is a reasonable fellah...but no one wants to deal with the souless ginger. Least she was nice to me today, she always is to your face and then complains about you to other coworkers behind your back. It all filters back to me via a mutual friend. I did highjack her meeting to have a small meltdown with another coworker at our team lead, who is a buddy of mine and then pulled the boss in. Yesterday was a massive delivery....so yeah today was quiet....the ginger was ok at lunch, but admitted to being an angry person all the time and said she should take something for her chemical imbalance....I was thinking to myself....yeah you really should get on that! :D To quote the 90's Ice Cube song, "You Better Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself".... 8)

So more drinks for me....

By the way, I hope Chuck Jensen and Pierre and others I have crossed words with this year reads this, as you can blame the souless ginger for making me lash out at you guys in the past.... :(

Our office was a happy place, like a small family, but new boss came, massive more amounts of work, one guy retired, my good friend died......

I fear I might come unglued when my one close buddy retires and another probably gets sick of his 2 hour commute and looks for something closer to home....I am working on an exit strategy for my sanity.... 8)

Scott, I have been there a couple of times, retired early, not a lot of money, but lots of peace.

All I can say is hang in there!

Oh so much fun Dale! :D The ginger has been nice to me in our discussions online with friends. She isn't all that bad. The stress of our busy schedule has had a lot of an effect on me too.

But Al - yeah, I dream of that peace. It'll come when I am really old...or dead... :D But for me to enjoy my retirement, I have to get to retire and then live a really long damn time! 8)

I sincerely doubt that I will ever live long enough to retire. :( :( :(
