Well Bill my sword is on the table for you to take with a guaranteed historical game style. Manual defensive fire. We can play moe for skirmishers too. Austerlitz historical a perfect scenario as well.

Do you have the courage sir?

(Just jiving Bill don't take me too seriously, but the mdf game offer is serious)

Historical Austerlitz works for me.

No MDF please. It would take forever! LOL

Longer than it takes Cliff to tell us his life story.

Longer than it will take for Scott to recruit the last living soul into the Prussian army.

Longer than it will take Mark Jones to finally convince the Cabinet to see his way of thinking!

I DEFINITELY do not expect to live THAT long! :D

Courier on its way to your tent. I can do 1-2 turns a week max for now. We can negotiate the rest.

The French officer known as the Peacock pick his sword up from the table and looked across and the black clad Prussian. His uniform somewhat dow by comparison with the magnificient uniform of the guides.

'very well sir let battle commence, I shall meet you with honour in the fields of our Emperor's greatest victory'

Gen. Knox:

Before you run off to Austerlitz, you have unfinished business with the Prussians at Waterloo/Wavre. You don't want to overextend yourself or lose your concentration.

Seeing the menacing presence of two famous allied officers at his table. The French officer suddenly arose and put his hand to his sword. Then he grinned and signalled to Helga.

'Warm beer here Helga please and send some out to that infernal horse, it would seem Sir Muddy just will not give up the pursuit of my sword! And now the Black menace is after it as well! Oh dear perhaps I have over extended myself.'

With that the French officer normally full of bravado and cockyness sat down with a rather depressed look on his face. Slowly the look harderened though as he reached for his Margaux and filled a fresh glass. It's deep red from the high quality Cabernet of the Bordeux region seemed to strengthen his will......

He then cast a gaze around the tavern for some French officers who might boost is needy ego and he noted the Tirrailluers et Dragons in front of the fire with Marechal Bardon. So he sloped off leaving the allied officers for his companions and friends.

The door to the tavern opened and in stepped a grinning Gen. Ludwig. "So, young pup, you have seemingly caged the bear in his den. Just be sure that you do not end up with his claws sticking into your hide!"

"Ah, those peacocks, they strut and they prance," says the Prussian officer.

"Yes, but this one is different. Have you ever heard of a peacock armed with a Glock Model 18*?" replies Old Windy. (*its the automatic version of the Model 17)

"Er, no!" (beads of perspiration break out on his brow)

"He carries it up his feathers. If you see him stretch he is reaching for it."

"Thanks for the tip. I will have to wear my flak vest for this battle to be sure, mein General!"

And off we go. Turn 1 is off to the Peacock. The feathers are sure to fly as I have plenty of plans for this battle as I am sure that Herr Peacock does as well!

"Welcome, General," the Chef de Tirailleurs greets the famous officer as he joins them at their table. Upon settling into his seat, the General looked down to see the cat Josephine winding about his legs, brushing herself against his riding boots.
Raising his glass, the Tirailleur offers a toast to the man, " There is a buzz in the tavern this evening, sir, with the word spreading about your pending battle vs the Prinz of Dennewitz, on the hallowed fields of Austerlitz."
Looking across the room to the table favoured by the denizens of the Black Menace, the Prinz was seen deep in conversation with General Ludwig himself, no doubt laying the groundwork for the upcoming struggle in the hinterlands of Moravia.
"I am certain the semaphore stations will be eager to receive updates on how the battle fares, to bring the reports to all the camps of La Grande Armee, and here in the Rhine Tavern as well." Pausing to refill his glass with more wine, the Tirailleur continues by asking, "Have you ever engaged the Prinz before on the battle maps, sir?"

'Thank you Chef Schmidgall' the General replied.

He soon unfurled a large map upon the table of the Moravian battlefield. The most famous of all battlefields. He spent some time staring at it and then looked up intently.

'indeed this is my first battle with the Black Menace and it is somewhat over due, and he knows this ground so so well. Therefore I am sure I will be tested thoroughly, the Pratzen heights hmmm....'

Helga more wine and bring some food it will be a long evening of study.

Colonel Dumas welcome.

I am sorry Mssr Jones is not at this table at present. Hang on let me look underneath

I know he is busy all over the place so I suspect you will find it hard to get a fight with him.

I can tell you this though. My good officers here about are all reporting this Hanoverians rifle is getting quite accurate and his victories are mounting.

He recently had to decline a rematch with me due to the wonderful work he is doing for our club and all of his game commitments so I suspect you will have to join the waiting list. We plan to meet again soon as I know he wants revenge.

He is no longer playtesting with me for pretty much the same reasons. 8)
