"Well, it's about time that your beloved leader acknowledged your contribution to his losing cause", said the Hanoverian Brigadier as he casually leaned against one of the Emperor's Beautiful Daughters. "My sincere congratulations, General Knox, but I am not sure you really earned the second medal" says the Dragoon Guardsman as he pries the cork from the bottle. "After all, I don't happen to remember your defeating a Swede" he continues as he tips up the bottle of Margeaux and takes a long, healthy drag. Lowering the bottle, he is met by the icy, cold stares of Marechal's Jensen and Corbin, not to mention the Tyrant of France himself. "What?" asks the Hanoverian.
A devilish grin spreads across the face of General Knox as he asks, "Shall I, sire?"
"By all means, General", replies the Emperor of France.
The Hanoverian suddenly comes to his senses and realizes that this particular awards ceremony is not taking place in the Rhine Tavern as usual. Unfortunately, this revelation comes a bit too late as strong hands close upon him and the French General's grin widens even more.

The Commander of the Hanoverian Brigade walks into the Rhine Tavern and strides over to his usual table where he joins a group of German officers who are swapping tales of their latest victories over their French adversaries. Without a word, he seats himself in his usual chair and motions to Helga for a bottle of Jagermeister and a shot glass. As he removes his Dragoon's helmet, the conversation at the Hanoverian table comes to an abrupt halt, his officers staring at their commander in shock. It is their Commander's head that has drawn their attention so completely. Although he wears his hair rather short, the right half of his head has been shaved bald from the center of his forehead to the nape of his neck, the left half remaining intact.
"Don't even ask", says the Hanoverian Brigadier as he takes his first of many shots of Jager this evening.
Congratulations, Colin!!!
