Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Hey Fellows:

Just letting you know that I am back now. I have been gone for the last two weeks with a total communication blackout for the last seven days. As you may imagine, I have a great many things to do both here and at work to catch back up. I have managed to clear all of the End Game Registrations from the DOR System, along with the recommendations for all applicable promotions and medal awards for the Anglo-Allied Officers (staff officer duties you understand).

I also have numerous emails, game turns, and forum responses to complete as well. It will probably take me a couple of days to clear the queue, but I wanted to let you know that I am working toward that end.

I concur with both points! I collect a few guns and target shoot, but killing animals for fun I do not get. And my favorite son-in-law and his daughters love it! I would rather kill imaginary coalition soldiers.

Actually, I cannot fault you for that at all. Killing imaginary French soldiers is quite rewarding for me as well.

I had similar thoughts about that magnificent gator. Judging by his size, he was probably one hundred years old or so. My hope would be that the hunters killed him as their livelihood and not simply for sport. I can hunt to survive, but do not in any way personally condone trophy kills.

Y'all got it wrong. The gator crawled to the vet's office complaining of a belly ache. After an initial examination the vet induced the gator to vomit up his last lunch.....

They actually eat alligator in the american south. It's not too bad, actually has no flavor and the meat is white as snow. They also need to cull them for safety reasons. I'm also a non -hunter, But understand the necessity. Now back to the bad jokes...

Well I tell you what you come on down here to Jefferson East Texas and see if them ole boys won't have you for dinner and tell the Law that they mistook you for a wild pig (Boars) that what they call them down here at the Lake of the Pines. Hell I better get my self in a deer blind for the night before I get shot!
