i was wondering if anyone can direct me to a web page that has good art or pictures of polish lancers as i am trying to get some ideas for a tattoo to join my other 1 of a polish lancer thanks gents

That's a great site which I considered mentioning but the graphics are tiny. It might provide some ideas (battles, artists) to look for with search engines though.


If I ever got a tattoo it would be the cover image of J.V. Polisensky's War and Society in Europe 1618-1648. Despite his Marxist bent and the translation from Czech, it is very readable (although OT here).

I'd get a spike or an eagle's head instead of the cherub on the helmet though...
