I was looking at some of the mods for our games and found that the link for Philippe Divines Mods is either not there or broken.

Might want to take a look at that if possible.

I have never installed the path in my webpage, Scott. I am waiting on Philippe to send me the link to a Master Page that he was going to create. I have thought about creating another of my own webpages to tie in all of the links that he current has included in his forum posts, but I held off because I thought the Master Page on which he was working is imminent. I actually still think that it is.

In the interim, scroll down through the Rhine Tavern posts that show Philippe Divine as the author. These posts contain the links to his Graphics Mods which, from the feedback I have seen from the membership, have been very well received. I would have to agree that the quality of the work is outstanding.

I will get back in contact with Philippe and check on his schedule for the completion of his Master Page so I can active the link in my Graphics Mods webpage. I think it is a benefit to the membership that this information is kept current and readily accessible. That is the very reason I created the page in the first place.

If you have any trouble finding, or accessing, the links in the Philippe's Rhine Tavern posts, just let me know and I will help you get the downloads.

This is why I think a different section for modding and other needs on the forum is a good idea. Keep things generally easy to find. I know you are an engineer by trade Mark and building the larger concept is key, I am an information manager by trade and sometimes the ability for people to find information fast is destroyed when all information is housed in one place. As an archivist we are trained to create series based on lines of responsibility. There are two schools of thought, lumpers and splitters. Lumpers throw it all together, splitters based on certain criteria. I am for being a splitter in this case.....

Scott, send me an email so we can discuss. I am always open to any concept that directly benefits the members of our club. I would discuss it with you here, but during working hours, my access is limited through my phone. It is a real pain to type on my phone. To improve that condition, you would probably need to elect a teenage girl to be your Club President.

I think Scott is on to a good idea with a separate forum for graphics mods.

That was actually suggested to me by Pierre a couple of days ago. Now let me guess, the ACWGC already has such a forum. That seems to be the way this often goes.

I am easy. Whatever works best for the membership is fine by me, and the way I will always be looking to go. I don't see any reason why we could not do both. I do have to admit that I am not a fan of complicating simplicity though. The simpler we can keep things, the more likely they are to be maintained, and maintaining the systems we create is where we most often fall down.
