Gents,

do not forget about the battles and skirmishes over the triangle Zgorzelec (Görlitz), Głogów (Glogau) and Wroclaw (Breslau) ... ie. near Boleslawiec (Buntzlau, Thomaswaldau) 25 May 1813, Chojnów (Hainau) 26 May 1813, Jawor (Jauer) 28 May 1813.

Maps for battles already, I mean Bolesławiec (Buntzlau), Głogów (Glogau) and Kaczawa (Katzbach) from JTS
Campaign Leipzig

Skirmish at Jauer
May 28 1813

Skirmish at Jaworem (Jauer) May 28, 1813, she was one of the episodes of the French attack, carried out in late May of this page Złotoryja (Goldberg) direction Jawor (Jauer) and Strzegom (Striegau). In the history Jawor these events commemorated not so much so as the result of the clash of excesses, which after the Italian soldiers have committed in the service of Napoleon.
The day began with an attack VI Corps march. Marmont and I Cavalry Corps General Latour - Maubourg that of the region Słupa (Schlauphof) and Gierałtowca (Giersdorf) by Winnnicę (Weinberg) hit direction Jawor the Russian troops from the body of General Saint - Priest. Distinguished themselves in combat and body cuirassiers who defeated the enemy regiment of dragoons. Cavalry Saint - Priest finally rejected in the direction Jawor and Bolków (Bolkenhain) (fight was still on Suburb Złotoryjskim - from the present Settlements "Przyrzecze" to almost Liberty Square). At the same time, from the side Złotoryja entered Sichów (Seichau) XI corps march. Macdonald and IV corps, General Bertrand.
The Russians, after all developed south - west Jawor his defense. In the afternoon, the French began the attack, which forced the enemy to retreat outside Jawor. In the fight again distinguished himself cavalry Latour - Maubourg. The French took over 1,000 prisoners. After all, in his later report Marmont misjudged the attitude of the cavalry corps, consisting of poorly trained novices. Even claimed that having a better ride Russians would completely break down. Around 19.00 hours Jawor body came Marmont, who took home buyer accommodation Roppau. XI corps stood Piotrowice (Peterwitz) Staff march. MacDonald took the court now ruined. Body Bertrand spread between Chrośnicami (Hennersdorf), Męcinka (Hermsdorf) and Słupem (which was headquarters staff). Divisions Latour - Maubourg stood on the night Starym Jaworze (Alt Jauer)
In memory Jaworzan very bad sign up that day Italian soldiers from 15 Infantry Division of Gen. Peyri (IV corps, General Bertrand). They destroyed the Protestant cemetery, burned with a valuable library of Latin school and robbed and burned down houses pastor and teacher. Do not spared the churches Jawor opening therein are sarcophagi. The next day, the French corps moved towards Strzegom (Striegau) and Świdnica (Schweidnitz).

Gentlemen Officers,

these scenarios are battle of Hainau-Michelsdorf (Chojnów-Michów) 26 May 1813, near Buntzlau (Bolesławiec) and Liegnitz (Legnica) over the Katzbach river (Kaczawa) ?

052_Hainau-H_Solo.scn 052. Ambush at Hainau
053_Hainau-V1_HTH.scn 053. Battle at Hainau Var.1

There, on May 26 the Prussian cavalry General Ziethen, and more troops colonels Dolffs and Mutius, broke the French infantry division of General Nicolas-Joseph Maison, Marshal Ney from the body.
