Gentlemen

Im considering downloading this game (CNAP) to find some PBEM opponents in the Club.

Also, just got Crown Of Glory- Anyone interested in a game?

Can I ask those interested in Nappy Grand Strategy games to please reply to this topic?

Any recomendations for good non HPS/JT Napoleonic games?

Thank you all in advance.

Sir, may I kindly ask you not to cause trouble in the tavern. If you are looking for a fight, there is another place where to go. Please let the Gentlemen here have a beer and some nice talk and come out with me.

Ok, lets be less formal. You have installed CoG or CoG-EE? Have you played it before? If not, we might start a manoeuvre (I got CoG-EE) against the AI to get through some basics. Or we ask Monte and some others to join to get eight players. Monte is an expert and always willing to give good advive to help to understand game mechanics better. (Still learning from him.) But at the same time he is open for suggestions and willing to discuss best strategy.

Herr Kraut

Thank you for posting.

Darn, I seem to have the original CoG

Do you know if there is a way to upgrade my version?

Im just learning how to play, but I would not mind to take part in a 8 player battle royale to help me learn faster.

Saludos!

Hi,

sorry to say but I guess CoG cannt be updated to CoG-EE. The later is the successor but not addon. But I will check it.

Another idea: As we both intend to download C-NaW we might start a manoeuvre in that. It is playable as 1vs1. So we wont have to wait til we got group of eight players to start CoG-EE (guess CoG is not played by anyone I know). C-NaW is easier to get in. Unit abilities and upgrades are easy to understand, while CoG-EE offers several unit improvements that are not easily comparable in their benefit for a player in a certain situation. Same with improvements of economy or infrastructure. Plus, the mao in C-NaW and unit graphics are much nicer.

Please let me know what you think about that.

Best regards, Juergen

Count me in for a game too, although at a very slow pace due to my real life, if you don't mind....

Agreed gentlemen, Im downloading the game right now, so we can begin our game as soon
as you decide.

Thanks for the help Juergen.. seems Im stuck with my old CoG-
Nevermind.. CNAW seems a good alternative

I dont mind a somewhat slow turn rate Scott, I dont have as much free time as I would like these days myself.

It goes without saying- The invitation is open for any club member wanting to try a different approach to PBEM gaming.

Good news. Just downloaded the game and now I am ready to start.

Choose scenario and side and drop me a note (keine_brettspiele@hotmail.com). Suggestions: FoW on (of course), advanced weather on, random science off. Ok with that?

Slow game is no problem. Actually I am playing a game of Medieval - TW where we are around 16 players. Turns take two weeks at minimum although the rule says that each player has to execute and send his turn within 24 hours otherwise will be replaced by next one in line. Games in Adcvanced Tactics with 4 players involved often take a week, as do turns in a just finished 1vs1 in scenarios where it took more than 2 hours to execute the turn. Normally dont have 2 hours every second evening, so it often took a week in that game to go a step further. Nevertheless we played 120 turns. Great game. Really enjoyed it.

Sir,

horses are saddled, sabres are sharpened, and powder is stored save and dry. Waggons are loaded with supply and are ready move. The men are standing clear and morale is excellent. The 1st KGL brigade reports ready for manoeuvre. At your sign, Sir!
