General Masson:
All members may certainly engage in the H&R/R&H games created by our Russian officers. As these are only modifications of the JTS game system, and cannot operate outside of the copyrighted JTS game engine, they are not something that we would 'officially' adopt as a club. The difference really lies in the copyright and their independent function. The H&R/R&H work plays radically different from the stock JTS version, but in the end, it remains a modification and cannot function independently of JTS. I think it would be fantastic if the H&R/R&H mods, with all of their associated house rules, could be programmed into a game engine. I have stated this to Vladimir Repnin in the past.
When H&R/R&H is programmed to run off their own copyrighted game engine, I will be the very first person to advocate the adoption of this work by the NWC.
My sincere compliments to all of the H&R/R&H developers. To have a member even pose this question is a tribute to the fine efforts you have made in the interest of our hobby.
