Why Marechal Corbin, the 2012 SON Tournament just concluded a Guards Category of the SP Division. Marechal Bardon was knighted as its Champion in a rather narrow victory over General Cann, although I do admit that his medal is still forthcoming when the tournament concludes (hopefully) at the end of this month. :o  :?

Now if your vaunted Imperial Guardsman have grown bored with their primping and posturing, I might be convinced to place my sword upon the altar of fate once the current tournament is concluded. :P

Indeed I do believe Marechal Bardon and I are overdue for a mp game together. Perhaps this tournament will provide this opportunity.

I recall it was not a knock thing last time just a series of one off match ups. Quite a good contrast as it only requires 1 game to participate.

I would think you could pick out a few historical battles that are fairly even and let the team choose which one they want to play.

Salute!

I propose that at the very least, the Guards team of Marechal Bardon and General Knox go ahead and issue a Guard's Challenge to be accepted by Guards only from among the Coalition armies.

Let us see who dares to pick up the cast gauntlet.

I would also like to see a steady report (including game banter as related in another thread near to this one) on the battle progress (even if only in Pierre's - with the Allied team(s) doing the same in their Arms).
Such a series of posts would serve to educate many other officers in all of the Club armies.

Just my thoughts on this.

Regards,
