Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Suddenly, after playing Campaign Leipzig, on a daily basis, with the most current patch (1.04a), I can no longer play either a scenario or campaign. When I double click on either icon, respectively, nothing happens. My PC loads for a minute or two, which is already unusual, given it is usually very quick, and again, nothing happens. When I try to re-download the most recent patch, I get stopped into the middle of it & get a message stating:

can't create output file: c:\perflog\JohnTillerSoftware\CampaignLeipzig\cpl.
exe


Any ideas on how I fix this??

Checked 1814 & Bautzen no issues with these.

I emailed Richie H. over @ JTS earlier today. We will see what he says when he gets around to it.

Gary, did you check the installation path to make sure you were sending the update to the same directory as your existing installation? It sounds to me like your computer may be looking in the wrong place for a file it needs to start properly. Also, the fact that it cannot be easily removed could be an indication of scattered files.

Use 'My Computer' to look through your directories for duplicate Leipzig folders.

Mark raises a good point...I store elsewhere myself and actually have to edit the address when doing the updates....
