Salute!

From a shadow cast corner in the tavern's common room, a gray haired feline crouches and watches Die Ratte munching a piece of cheese after making his pronouncement.

Eugene, l'Parisian Alley-cat wonders to himself whatever could the infernal creature be referring to...?

Regards,

Did someone bake me a cake?

Are the paternity test results in?

Did the travel papers for a certain short Corsican tyrant known for extensive belly button searches arrive for an exotic island vacation?

Indeed, the suspense is driving me to distraction. So, in true Austrian fashion, I shall divide my forces and seach every corner of the interwebs for clues!

Salute!

Eugene, l'Parisian Alley-cat's whiskers are sticking straight out, taut with anticipation, his nose wrinkles and his haunches shake with a slight tremulous motion.

Regards,

DING! The countdown has completed………..

My fellow gamers,
Definition of a “club” : an association of persons for some common object usually jointly supported and meeting periodically; also : a group identified by some common characteristic

I have been back with the NWC since April of2012. I have enjoyed my time here and also have enjoyed trying to help out! Unfortunately, the time has come for me to say good-bye. There are many reasons, but the biggest reason is the way I have been treated by the Anglo Allied Army Commander. I have tried my very best to help do things within the club. Every time I asked to do something I was either ignored or just told no. In the past few months I made a number of signatures for our men. This was my pleasure! I enjoyed doing it and learned a lot from the experience. I made a trio of signatures for our commander and sent them to him. He chose one to use but never even had the courtesy to say thanks. When he posted about needing help doing things with the web pages, I responded immediately because I also have a fair amount of web site skills, once again after offering and never hearing a word back, I began to get the message. I have even posted in the forums about the lack of leadership within the AAA. Once again, no response. Well another gaming club has offered to allow me to help them. I have accepted their offer. I am sure that Marco will be happy to see me leave.

One of the biggest parting questions I pose to the Cabinet members is this, why does the NWC only elect the President and not the Commander of the Armies. Marco has been the CiC of the AAA since I have been here. Seldom has he been visible. He takes months to do promotions, give medals or even recognize the victories of the men he supposedly commands. These actions are certainly not those of a leader. They say that good leadership filters down. I must agree. Look at the French, they are a well groomed army who has a leader that communicates with his men. A dedicated Chief of Staff who is always on top of the web site duties and is allowed to do them in a timely manner.

One of the few communications I did receive from my CiC was a strong suggestion to leave the AAA and go fight for the French. Sir, if I would have wanted to fight for the French, I would have enlisted in the French Army.

Well, enough of my petty bickering and complaining. My very best to all of the members of the club. I have learned a lot but it is now time to move on for my own sanity. I will send someone the master files for the signatures I have made so they will be able to be updated when your promotions come. My best to you all and thank you.

Marco, since you never had the courtesy to say thank you to me for the signature, I will just say “You are welcome!”, and move on.

My very best to you all…………………………………

I won't comment on the state of the AAA army, it's not my place to do so, but I will say that even if I never played with (or against) you, it's always sad to see a very active and willing officer leave. :( :(

Eugene, l'Parisian Alley-cat gingerly creeps out of the shadows to walk across the tavern floor, bravely venturing near to the corner of the room favored by the menagerie that composes the Hanoverian Brigade...

Sensing no threat he stops before the bits of cheese scraps left about, where last he had observed Die Ratte...

Sniffing them he raises his head to peer about... seeking for signs...
There is a certain look in his soft green eyes...
