For years in this tavern LGA was hardly present with just a small group of senior officers posting now and again. Now thanks to all and sundry we are well and truly here!!

One particular gentlemen has really led the way and I just wanted to post my personal thanks and respect to Marechal Al Kling. There is quite a lot of work managing all these awards, website and other things given the size of LGA so a particular thanks to Al.

Helga battle your way across this tavern and make sure all drinks for the Marechal on my tab tonight!

Al is the definite leader in that respect.

For years the LGA has ben much to quiet. Now we are back where we belong, at the top :D

I concur and would like to say my return was partly due to the camaraderie and activities of the club in regards to all the fine work done by those behind the scenes!

Well done Al your efforts are truly appreciated! :)

Salute!

Since I somehow missed this excellent post in praise of our Marechal Kling, honoring his tireless efforts on behalf of not only our Grande Armee - but his work has also had a ripple effect throughout our glorious club -

I will join the party on this Sunday morning and order mugs of coffee and hot buttered croissants for the officers who yet linger at the tables nursing their heads from a night of wild festivities.

Tip o' the shako to you Al.

Regards,

Thanks Colin for the kind words and thanks to everyone else!

I enjoy working (playing) for the LGA and NWC. I must admit it is also nice to be appreciated. John Corbin has giving me the latitude to move things forward and hopefully keeping them fun for all.

But it is everyone's club, so John and I would also appreciate your thoughts and ideas on how to make things even better and more fun. While the LGA is a our play army, we are all members of the Napoleonic Wargame Club.

There are others in this little organization who also work tirelessly for the club and its success that should be recognized as well.

So have fun and Battle On...

Al

Al, is it possible to "clone" you and John and send them to the AAA. Our leader is never around and always seems to be months behind!

The relationship between you and John seems to be outstanding! Our armies just seem to be outstanding in a field waiting for the leaders to show up!

Thank you John and Al. You do your men proud!

Yes I agree with Scott the allied armies need to raise their profile to a similar level.
Allied army leaders are you there?

Just kidding but it would be great to see it. We always seem to have it one way or the other never both. For ages it was all allieds now its all French. The best club would be 'all everyone'.

I totally agree with Scott and Colin! But hopefully the allied command keeps working on it.

That is a sentiment with which I agree 1000%, and exactly what I hope we will one day achieve! "All Everyone". One club; one heart; one soul; one band of merry, gaming brothers commited to having fun and actively working together as a team for the benefit of all. :D :P
