Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

We are having a problem with registering an MP game 2-2 id 1686

We have a French and an Allied player on the same team vs 2 French. The game was only able to be setup without the Allied player added, It would not work with him. I also cannot confirm the game as it is currently setup.

Who is your Coalition officer, Pierre? Let me know and I will set this up for you. Also, unless all players in the game are on the same side of the club (i.e. All French or All Coalition), the battle should be registered as a Fight.

Let me know the name of your Coalition player, and I will register the game for you. If I run into any problems, I will contact Dominik and we will resolve any issues. It should be no problem to register the game as intended. I have done so many times in the past, so I do not know why you are experiencing problems. Perhaps something has changed of which i am yet unaware. In any case, we will get your game properly registered.

Actually Pierre, I think I know what the problem is. Try registering the game as a Fight instead of a Maneuver. I suspect that will solve your registration problem. I will delete your current registration since it is incorrect in any case.

You are likely correct Mark, as a member of this MP game (see thread a Strange Dream... or is it?) this was originally supposed to be a maneuver game between LGA officers, but then I managed to find myself allied with the redoubtable Field Marshal Blackburn (aka Red Nemesis).

I believe that Pierre went to register the game with maneuver still on his mind.

Mark, having not heard from Pierre on the subject, yet not receiving any notice from the DoR that I had a new battle to confirm, I took it upon myself to try and register the game.

When it got to the part about adding the opposing officers - although whether you are adding under Coalition or French side you can place any officer's name - hence my own was added under Coalition, it would not accept the information - informing me via a Hint: you must assign officers from the same side to a single side in battle.

I guess we will need help to proceed from this point.

The players/sides are:
Coalition: Ed Blackburn, Todd Schmidgall
French: Pierre Desruisseaux, Antonio Zino
