Salute!

Welcome to our side of the hill Lieutenant Sheffield! :D

And welcome to the Reserve Cavalerie Corps! 8)

May you find the food as rich as you have heard, the wine as sweet, and the victories at the head of L'Empereur's eagles as glorious!

Regards,

Gentlemen

I suspect John was bored with winning all the time so thought he would get a better class of opponent this way

Thank you Gentlemen for the fine welcome. Jim, Mark, excellent witticisms.

I always made it a point of never looking at things from a French viewpoint, at all times considering matters from
a narrow Allied perspective even against the A.I. I only played the French twice due to unequal numbers in tournaments.
So I wanted to flip things over and see things from the other side of the hill to steal Todd’s turn of phrase.

The drinks are on me Gentlemen...Helga, after you fill everyone’s glass I will pay with my last ‘King’s shillings’.
For future refreshments I trust you will be kind enough to assist me with my new gold Napoleons.

I thought it was my deodorant or lack of...............

It is always nice to see things from a different perspective. It has a tendency to help broaden ones horizons, but if the truth be told my wife says my horizons are broad enough.

Best of luck....

:D

I'm sure John will be back when he discovers the grass isn't as green as he thinks on that side of the fence. It's all fancy uniforms and funny smells. When you are ready to return to the real men and our E quality units, please let us know.
