Salute!

L'Chevalier enters the common room of the Rhine Tavern and is glad to find his noble sword foe present and standing at the bar.

Judging from the worn look upon der Jager's face all was not well with the fellow, but then L'Chevalier had heard the sad news already.

He strode over to him and seeing the bottle of Jagermeister asks Helga to pour him a shot, which the barmaid does and hands to him.

Turning to his friend, L'Chevalier gives a wane smile, holds up the glass and speaks softly...

To the memory of your horse, which has died, not because of any Wound he had received, but merely of old Age, and excess of Heat; for when this happened, he was nigh thirty Years Old: He had also endured much Fatigue, and undergone many Dangers with his Master, and would never suffer any, except der Jager himself, to mount him. He was strong, and beautiful in Body, and of a generous Spirit.

Then he bravely downs the potent libation in one gulp.

Regards,
