Gentlemen

I along with I hope millions of others in the UK will be participating in http://www.1418now.org.uk/lights-out/
The uncommon "common man" was ripped from city, town, village, hamlet and farm to experience what no human being should endure and certainly not by the million.

Forget the politics, even the rights and wrongs the people I wish to remember as those like me "ordinary".

Lets keep our kills as pixels and remember we are all comrades united in a common interest.

Salute!

Thanks Jim for the news on this.

There will be a candle lit here in my abode to reflect upon this moment of desolation...

Regards,

WWI begat WWII.

55 Million people perished in 41 years as a direct result if the fighting. Multiples of this number in addition for non-combat reasons.

Let's stick to killing pixels, and never forget the fallen and the lesson learned in their passing.

Unfortunately Humanity doesn't really learn. After WW2 I think there was even more deaths caused by wars than during the first half of that century.

The only difference being that it happened at different places.

Too true David, too true...

A Cold War for the soul only...

History sadly repeating itself for those who cannot learn from the past.

All we can do is give peace a chance...

Gentlemen

I totally agree, lots of us never learn from the past.
Even if we fail to learn at least remember and "light a candle"
