After the return to active Club life I was rather surprised with the number of posts in the Tavern about the French promotions. Somewhat embarracing I'd say. But tonight I realised an important aspect about all these posts. The aspect is revealed by the fact that among these posts sometimes we can see info about French victories. Knowing how prone our frog-eating clubmates are to do something like :frenchvive: or :frenchvive1: one can come to conclusion that these are the only victories they have achieved. Then what are all these promotions given for? Quite naturally - for defeats.

So I invite all the members of our mighty Coalitions to drink three times three to our glorious French clubmates. Let us wish them even more and even higher promotions! :russianveryhappy:

Salute!

Le Chevalier has a chuckle and remarks...

General-Adjutant Kosyanenko, the spider web spun by your logic nearly entangled me, sir. :sly:

But I cut myself clear armed with the knowledge...

Whatever 'tis makes you happy... :frenchwink:

:frenchvive: :frenchvive1:

Regards,

"By the gods of war, it is a privilege to share a drink with two such fine officers", says the Coalition Chief of Staff as he slides back his chair and stands. Raising his crystal shot glass high into the air, he proclams, "To French promotions, may they be many and often!"

Monsieur it is because of the low victory numbers that where changed in 13 from 20000 to 2000 for major victory :P  the only game where the French had to fight is 1809 1806 and some of them where change

Salute!

A toast then, to honor & glory upon the battle maps, and Le Chevalier joins der Jager in a swift swallow of the latters favorite liquor.

And may we each have a single candle burning to mark that desolate day when the lights went out...

Regards,
