Salute!

Welcome to the cavalerie, sir! :frenchcharge:

You will find that your new command will require the following: audacity and practice!
And a combination of these skills: speed, shock, good order, carefully maintained formations and the correct use of reserves!

Helga, a round here for the new Sous-Lieutenant.

Cheers, Martin!

Regards,

Welcome to these wretched wars, Lieutenant Adamson. Please insist that the French Quartermaster assign you a real horse to carry the weight of an armored rider. Even we officers of the invincible Coalition feel sorry for the tiny ponies of France that are your cavalry's most common mode of transport.

:frenchshock: :frenchsad: :french???:

Helga, please be a dear and treat all of the Coalition officers to a round on the young lieutenant's purse in our time honored tradition. After all, the odds favor his falling in battle when he encounters his first Coalition opponent, and we certainly would not want him to meet his demise with a full purse.

:frenchshock:  :frenchsalute:

Welcome to the NWC, Martin!

Congratulations Sous-Lt. Adamson on taking the command of the 2eme Cuirassiers.

As a commander of heavy cavalry, you will enjoy the privilege of riding down the disordered allied rabble on many occasions. And though your pursue may be lightened this day, no doubt you will fill it to overflowing from the coffers of our enemies.

:frenchcharge:

Cheers!

:frenchvive1: To all Officers and men of La Grande Armee - I can only apologise for my tardiness in replying to these messages. I only received my official despatches
containing pertinent information allowing me to reply, this morning.

Damn those Russian Cossacks and their harrying of our lines of communication. Rest assured they will pay for that. :smug:

Now I'm off to investigate - how to further the ambitions of La Belle France :frenchvive: :frenchvive:

Regards

Sous Lieutenant Adamson - 2ème Régiment de Cuirassiers, 2éme Brigade, 1ère Division de Grosse Cavalerie, Réserve de Cavalerie, La Grande Armée
