Salute!

As many of you are now finding out, yesterday both Al Kling and Mark Jones resigned from their elected positions in the NWC.

Their posts may be found here in the Rhine Tavern.

The administrative duties are being managed, in the Coalition by the respective Contingent Commanders, to whom I will offer my praise for working together at this time, and in LGA by myself as the serving Chef d'Etat.

The Coalition and LGA will be holding elections for new CiC's in their respective private army forums, as has been conducted for each in the recent past.

Officers should look for nomination threads in 'The Coalition Arms' and 'Pierre's Tavern' to be placed by the serving army leaders, as soon as possible.

Also, there will be a club wide election held for the Cabinet position of Secretary as soon as it is possible to organize.

For myself, I will not be speaking on behalf of those members who resigned.

I will be preparing a formal response to some of the statements that are being made on this matter in other threads in the forum.

I would urge all members to conduct themselves in a respectful manner when discussing or commenting on this event (as should be done at all times).

If you have any questions on this matter for me, you may send me an email, or Private Message via the club system, or post them in the forum, and I will answer them as soon as I possibly can...

Regards,

Thanks Todd,
I want to add in that Todd has been very helpful in starting the conversations about moving forward with those of us with administrative/leadership positions in the Coalition Army. We are talking, there is a nice little group of us, and we shall call for nominations soon.

Salute!

The question has been reasonably asked in another thread who is running the club, and who are the current moderators of the forum...

Both Roy Purcell and I remain in our elected positions in the NWC.
We both remain as forum moderators, as per our elected positions.

I have stated in my initial post in this thread that both club armies will soon be holding nominations for the positions of CiC, and elections if necessary.

We will also be holding an election for Cabinet Secretary.

All administrative business is being presently conducted in it's normal fashion - as moderator of the DoR, I have continued to confirm end game results, for example, and all eligible officers are receiving their OBD and VPs without delay, and information on possible promotions and medals duly transmitted.

I would also like to point out that (as many of you presently are, including myself), any member of this club is free to join any other club without fear of loss of membership in the NWC.

It is also not against the rules of the NWC for any member to form their own separate club elsewhere in the wide world of the internet.

The rules pertaining to maintaining an active membership in the NWC are clearly laid out in the club rules found by clicking on the link on the front web page here.

Regards,

Thanks for the update, Todd.

The quicker those vacant positions are filled, the easier the transition will be. In the meantime, please continue keeping us informed and do not hesitate to ask for help.

"Salute" to Todd and Roy
Keep going forward lets not dwell in the past ,NWC stays strong ,the club is us who play and enjoy it here ,we are the club and the club is us.
It is not the first time and may not be the last time the members from here start a new club.
Elections of the most important positions in the club are over and we have Todd and Roy to lead us to the future.
To the future of NWC "Salute"

Gentlemen

I would like to add my voice to those in praise of Roy and Todd.
As elected members I believe they not only represent the majority of active members of The Club but have now proved that the faith we put in them was justified.

While agreeing that it may be advantageous to have all matters resolved as quickly as possible I would suggest that doing things properly is better than doing things precipitously.

I obviously didn't mean the ones who left for the new club. I was thinking of Scott Ludwig, David Guegan, Rich Hamilton and some of the others who left under the cloud.

Monsieur, I guess you were unaware that they also formed a club. I am a member of that club and not ashamed to say so, because I hold no office in this club. After they left or where force to leave they still enjoyed the friendship of others with like interest and formed a club. But they are all willing to reform back here when the wind blows their way Monsieur! They do not wish to undermined this or any club, but just choice to play war games without politics. I am sure the Eric is to busy keeping the CCC running peaceable.

Morning Cliff

Now that's interesting. I am in the process of joining the latest club but didn't realise there was another earlier one established. I must have been missed of the invitation list !

Morning Monsieur, their club is small and if they return here there no use going there . It was not by any invite I was fishing around and the ladder blitz club seem like a place where they play WWI, and got a game and Chris told me about a face book page.
