Fellow Club Members,

I am please to announce that the Österreichische Imperiale Armeekorps is on the move!! :)

A new website is being worked on as we speak that will be like the one of previous years, while still maintaining it's 1809 Wagram Order of Battle, though it'll be an extended OOB now.

So look for this to come out in a few weeks!

So before we elect new officers, you are going to go ahead and scrap the new and improved organization system that was implemented?

Wouldn't it make more sense to get the new officers in order first before making any sweeping changes like that?

Nothing is changing in who is command of what nor is the chain of command changing. The site is simply being redone and some minor adjustments to the OOB which by and large will stay the same.

Andy Moss is Coalition CiC and Jim P the Austro-Prussian-Swedish Contingent AC have both approved of the overall plan.

Not it's ok Mike. There are a number of moving parts going on right now & a lot going on behind-the-scenes too. So it is good to ask when you are uncertain. :)

Mike,
the existing oob is based on the 1809 OOB of the IV Korps, modified to fit into our "contingent system." Before adopting this OOB, I took a poll of the Austrians and about 50% responded, all affirmative (although I think Celamanka pointed out that the one of the Austrian Corps fighting in Italy in 1809 was likely the best Corps fielded by the Austrians in the period). I do not speak German and I based it on English language OOB's (from the Thunder on the Danube books), so Scott is cleaning up the German etc.
