Sirs,
As I again return from the infirmary and via my Tailor (Uniform Shot full of holes..again!!!), I feel that the Tavern has had some major renovations, on my last visit (Before the unpleasantness with the grapeshot!!) it was a rather dark and gloomy place, filled with melancholy, Officers staring into empty glasses, Helga nowhere to be seen, her rather grumpy Father more angry than usual, However on my return, I see a wonderfully restored mess, happy faces (Except Helga's Father) Officers restored to their former boastfulness and ramrod pride!! Gentlemen I would like to raise my glass to you all..and Helga, I throw my purse to you, please let every Officer drink on me. Gentlemen lets us all vow never to return to those bleak and dismal days. :scottishduh:

There's a sign on the door: Under New Management.

I'll drink to that. I'll drink to anything in fact as long as a) it's alcoholic and b) free

And since the holidays are fast approaching, how about some of that famed mulled cider I read about in the English Christmas stories. A cold wind blows in from the north and I need a warm glow. More wood on the fire too!

Fires put out, wreackage cleared and things put back in order remarkably quickly....A tip of the hat to the "New Managment" .
