Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Good day gentlemen
A post from another thread( http://wargame.ch/board/nwc/viewtopic.php?p=86268#p86268 ) inspired my to think about the feedback for the games we play here.
The majority played here are the HPS/JTS games but there is only an unofficial forum that has a very low activity, our forum is very active and has a lot guys who worked directly or indirectly on these games and are members in this club, so I would find it beneficial to instate a feedback section, preferably a "Games Feedback Section" on the same level as the other forum subsections and within them there should be sub-sections for each game of the HPS/JTS series and within them threads could be started with scenario specific feedback.

Now not that I doubt the quality of all the scenarios, hell no but looking through the ones that participated in some way in making these games I see very few non English names and so I wouldn't wonder if the sources in German, Russian, Italian, French etc. might not have been exploited that much, but they still could be by the membership of this club as it seems to cover a much wider rage of countries and so also native speakers of these countries language.
For example I see some German names in here besides mine and these people could be able to help with any German material that comes up.

This is a fine example of how it can go if the different nationalities are "utilized" beyond filling the various armies in our club.


Besides that starting to give feedback is usually a very good way to start a discussion about a scenario and the real battle it depicts, and I'm long enough in the "business" of providing feedback on other forums to see the benefit from giving feedback not only in improving scenarios & games but also in expanding & sharing knowledge.
We had some voices say they miss historical discussions and I think a feedback section could be a good place and reason to start these, someone simply has to start the ball rolling.

So is this a worthy idea?

That's a good idea! There is a feedback section at the Blitz which I often look at. It can help determining if there are indeed flaws in a particular scenario which can then be rectified in a future patch.

I know the Blitz but where is the feedback section there?

When you fill in the end game form you have the option to assess and rate the scenario. These comments can be accessed via the Scenarios header. I always try and fill in comments where I feel it necessary.

Such a good idea that it has been implemented. See Feedback section, each game that the club supports has its own feedback forum.

A small Error, I think there is just one "Hist war Napoleon" section needed unless I missed something.
