Hi All,
Just to note that the
Austro-Prussian-Swedish Army has been relocated.
It was decided that the concept of this force would still be employed, as it continues to allow for it's original purpose to be used. That purpose was taking three armies, the Austrians, Prussians & Swedish, who had smaller amounts of men & staff in them and joining them together under a centralized staff command. This allowed the sharing of duties by officers & key officers, who are able to do admin work, to support each other for the betterment of these three forces. It creates a level of redundancy that allows the ability for work & administration of these forces to continue, even if one leader in it gets busy in real life for a while. When it was employed starting in 2011, the benefits were easily seen. The Austrians, who had lost their webmaster & commander were looked after by myself & the other Prussian leaders & their site was changed drastically, their image improved, communication with their members grew & their ranks started to grow again. That role was reversed, when in my absence from the Club
Jim Pfluecke did these same things for the Prussian forces as well. Jim is a appointed Kommandeur of the three part Army. Him, Andy Moss, Walt Moehle & I will work together to ensure that these three, traditionally smaller Club armies are well looked after & their needs addressed. I am thankful to Jim for all his efforts he has made in running the three forces & in also being supportive of my ideas for them when I came back & took over the websites again. He is a credit to the forces & the Club at large.
So the Austro-Prussian-Swedish Army will continue as is, with it's original concept, with Jim in charge of it, as the system has worked well for quite a while. My philosophy of, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applied properly to this situation.
