Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

I had until August 1st to find a new home and so today I went to see a man that had a room for rent in the same area where I lived in north Boise in 2011 to 2014. Room is nice, house is super quiet and its right next to the Greenbelt. Price is right. Just have to get internet connected.

I am moving on Monday so the HQ will be taken down early that morning and I should be back up and running by that afternoon.

The house has A/C and good heating so this is good. Room is average sized so its not going to be cold in the winter.

The Greenbelt entrance is right at the (dead) end of our street or I can enter via the park across the street from the house. I have a line on a bike that a fellow is selling so its back to riding very soon.

Happy to finally be getting back into town as it will be easier to go on interviews or find work and also go shopping. My friends here at the "ranch" are going out of town for a lot of August so I would be here on my own. Not good.

Glad to have made it this far and the "adventure" in life continues.

Had to go to ER on Friday so taking it a bit slow this week. Will still be moving but internet connection will still be a few days out and I have to check in with the VA and go to the doctor's sometime this week for a recall appt. In other words - getting old stinks.

Should be back to normal after the dr. visit. This week will still be taking it easy and going it slow.

HQ relocated. New internet is super fast too! I am not even connected to the modem via CAT5 cable but am using the wireless feature.

I have a medical appt. on Friday and after that I can start riding a bike again if all goes well. Really looking forward to my return to the Greenbelt as a lot of things have been added or changed.

Thanks to my opponents that bore with me while I used my phone to do game files. That was a viable means of doing PBEM files and I will do so in the future if I am ever without internet. Also worked for file uploads to the server we use for storing game project backups.
