Hi sorry for the newbie question. I'm confused about how the manual is written. It says "A leader which passes his command test will pass a +1 command bonus modifier down to the command ratings of his subordinate commanders (Except to detached brigade leaders).. Dose this mean detached wing, corps and division leaders still benefit from the +1 command bonus or dose everyone need to be attached to benefit from it? The except to detached brigade leader is what's confusing me.

Indeed “except to Detached Brigade Leaders” is a bit confusing.

I think what is meant here – the passing of command test stops at the brigade level. Hence brigade leaders do not pass the command test to their “subordinate commanders” but to units under their command.

Detached leaders do not receive command bonus from their superiors and this applied to all leaders not just brigade commanders (detached status is indicated on the leader icon)

Thanks Alexey for responding! It is a little odd in wording. Good info to know!

Would love a "verbose" option for the command test. It would be a log file or dialog (your choice) where you could see all of the die rolls and results of the Command Test. I think a lot of us have been wanting this for many years now.

Melee results too. The current melee results are simplified version of the actual routine that is run to determine losses and victor.

I agree, an option not to show command and melee results would be reasonable, but taking away some of the mystery would be good to see.
