With Greetings to all Subjects and Peers of the Realm alike and with the certain knowledge of loyalty and commitment to Fernando VII, Rey de España, El Consejo de Regencia de España e Indias, and the people of the Reino de España in the cause of the Guerra de la Independencia Española, do hereby create and impart upon Mayor Antonio Simón the title and honour of:

Barón de Madrid

And with the heirs and successors of the aforementioned, We do appoint, give and grant the same title and honour.

Now styled as:

Mayor Antonio Simón, 1st Barón de Madrid

With such granted all the rights, privileges, pre-eminences, immunities and advantages of the Nobility of our Realms.

With commitment to the memory of El Levantamiento del 2 de Mayo de 1808, and for longevity in service and greatness on the field of battle against La Grande Armée. In further service to the wider Peninsular War and the Allied Coalition at large via association and cooperation with all Our known allies in the Anglo-Allied Army (AAA) and in the government of His Majesty the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland

In Witness of appropriate organizations of governance and in Concurrence with the Cortes de Cádiz, We do hereby issue these Letters Patent.
