Anglo-Allied Army (AAA) Title Elevation in the Peerage (Nobility)


Please join me in celebrating the below peers of the Realm, who through their commitment and service to the Club and the Anglo-Allied Army (AAA) have been elevated in their rank of nobility:

Honorary Command: 4th Squadron of the 1st Regiment of Life Guards, Household Cavalry Brigade


The Peerage Rank of Duke is for 100 games completed, accomplished by the incredible amount of gaming & involvement Mike has given the Club!!

Mike is only the 7th officer in the AAA to be elevated to the highest title in the Peerage!

We thank your for your continued commitment to the NWC & the AAA! You have been a cornerstone in the success that the Club currently enjoys and you deserve this honor for it!

Congratulations Mike on your elevation to the nobility.

It is a testament to your involvement with the NWC that you are only the seventh recipient of such an award.

Field Marshal Sir Michael Davies, 1st Duke of Glamorgan K.C.B. has a nice ring to it. Now that you inhabit a different social circle, do not fail to remember your humble beginnings, and don't lose touch with the common man. I am assured in myself that you will not.

Well, well, Gentlemen I am honoured and humbled (and clearly in the chair for this round, the next and I suspect the entire evening, so be it!)

Being an active participant in the NWC is a pleasure, I've met so many good people who combined with a shared passion have contributed to so many memorable games - its not hard to want to keep on playing :)

Lady Glamorgan, or should I say now, The Duchess is of course delighted, soirees are planned and invites to a far wider social circle have been issued. I hear the call of the trumpets, catch a whiff of gun smoke and know that its time to mount up and ride!
