Hi everyone, when recording a ‘Battle’, I would like to know the difference between MATCH, FIGHT, and MANEUVER… and what the correct term to write is.

Thank you

Hey Sandro,

A good question for sure!

Battle is when you play against someone on the other side of the club. LGA officer vs a Coalition one. Full OBD points, based on number of turns completed and Victory Points (VP) are awarded.

Maneuver is when you play someone from your side. LGA vs LGA or Coalition vs Coalition. Only half OBD points awarded based on number of turns completed.

Match is used for tournaments, which we haven't had a in a while. It allows full points and VPs to be given regardless of what side someone is on in the club. Makes it easier to manage tournament scoring and gives a bonus for everyone participating.

Hopefully this answers your question! If you have more, just let us know.

Happy gaming! :frenchsalute:

My deepest thanks, Sir, for this most complete and illuminating clarification.
Your explanation has dispelled every uncertainty, and I am greatly indebted to you for the precision and clarity with which you have addressed the matter.
