​I am profoundly honored by this Beförderung (promotion) and the trust placed in me by the Imperial Command.

​To lead the brave volunteers of the Wiener Freikorps at the very tip of the Avantgarde is a duty I hold with the utmost pride. The stirring notes of Wien bleibt Wien! perfectly capture the unbreakable spirit of our Heimat (homeland). I assure you, the French eagles shall find no easy passage through our woods!

​I raise my glass to you all in gratitude for the celebration. Prost! (Cheers!)

Meine innigsten und ehrerbietigsten Wünsche zurück, mein Herr!

Das Kayserreich darf sich wahrlich glücklich und gesegnet preisen, einen solch untadeligen Cavalier und wackeren Soldaten unter seinen wehenden Fahnen zu wissen! Solang Männer von Eurem Schlage und Eurer unerschütterlichen Disziplin den Degen für Seine Majestät führen, wird der Doppeladler stets siegreich über allen Feinden thronen.
